The original house responded to a distributive solution feature of multifamily housing developments in the Eixample during the 70s. The requirements of program were common rooms, dining room and study, three bedrooms, kitchen space and two bathrooms.
The proposal focused and committed to place the bedrooms around the courtyard and those pieces that require daylight for their activities were situated facing the street. The baths are rationalized and unnecessary circulation surface is eliminated, giving the more space to the bedrooms.
Inner closures are simplified in search of light. Openings in interior walls are created to gain visual connection between the pieces and a new furniture is projected articulating the living room and the study.
